This is a set of 3 complimentary mini skeins which I call a Mock Up, it is one of a kind… these are perfect for people who like to be unique. When creating specific colors or working to create a color way, I will often make a mock up before deciding the final yarn base and colour tones. I do not plan to repeat this yarn regularly.

You will receive 3 skeins total, 1 in the color way “Blush”, in the form of a 25 g +/- petite mini skein with a yardage of approximately 105 +/- yards and 1 in the colour “ Glacier Blue” in the form of a 25 g +/- petite mini skein with a yardage of approximately 105 +/- yards and 1 in the colour “The Wandere” the form of my grande mini skein 48 g +/- with a yardage of approx 215 +/- on my sturdy sock yarn base which is 75% super wash merino wool and 25% nylon.

Why the variation in size?
**
Mini skeins can vary, depending on the tension difference when the plies are twisted and the skeins are put into small hanks. Each one may be between 24 - 27 g for the petite mini or perhaps 46 - 50 g for a grande mini.

Mini skeins can be used for various projects like scrappy socks, granny squares, hat brims, or adding edging to projects. My fave way is the contrasting heel and toes on my socks! You can also incorporate them into shawls and scarves for texture.

Super Wash Merino wool is known to be machine washable, but I still recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry to extend the life of the yarn and your project! I carefully rinse and wash the yarn after the dye process, but it is still possible a small amount of color may bleed out in the first wash.
